Description from the seller
Magnificent large liqueur decanter / service bottle in cut crystal, doubled with ruby red, signed Val Saint Lambert (the original authentic label still present).
An exceptional piece for its imposing size and substantial weight, typical of the most prestigious and rare models from the Belgian manufacturer of the 1940s–1950s. The sleek, generous body, standing 33 cm tall without the stopper (41 cm with the stopper), rests on a solid base 9 cm in diameter, for a total weight of 1700 g—a remarkable mass that attests to the quality and thickness of the crystal used.
The deep, rich cut features intricate diamond/ geometric patterns on a light, open-worked background, creating a striking and luminous contrast with the outer layer of intense, deep ruby. The matching cap, finely faceted into spherical facets, fits perfectly; its ruby hue is slightly lighter than that of the body (a normal variation and characteristic of these antique doublets, due to the manufacturing process).
Detailed dimensions:
- Height without cap : 33 cm
- Total height with cap: 41 cm
- Base diameter: 9 cm
- Weight: 1700 g (a very massive, heavy and stable piece, ideal for an imposing presence on a table or in a display case)
Condition: excellent overall condition, worthy of a high-end collectible piece. No chips, no cracks, no fissures, or breaks visible. Only very light surface micro-scratches (normal signs of use for an antique crystal from this period), with no impact on aesthetics or brilliance. Remarkable preservation for an object of this size and age.
Provenance: from a Belgian private collection.
Shipping: ultra-secure packaging

Magnificent large liqueur decanter / serving flacon in cut crystal with ruby-red overlay, signed Val Saint Lambert (original authentic label still present).
An exceptional piece due to its impressive size and substantial weight, characteristic of the most prestigious and rare models produced by the Belgian manufactory in the 1930s–1950s. The deep, rich cutting features complex diamond and geometric patterns on a clear cut-to-clear background, creating a striking luminous contrast with the intense, deep ruby-red outer layer. The matching stopper, finely cut with spherical facets, fits perfectly; its ruby tone is slightly lighter than the body—a normal and typical variation found in period overlay pieces due to the manufacturing process.
