Limited edition of 5,000 units.
Sculptor: Heather Kilgour
According to legend, the Pass of Cirith Ungol was guarded by a being of unimaginable terror. Even the orcs of that region revered the abominable creature that haunted the only pass through the Shadow Mountains. There, Kankra nested, a remnant of the ancient line of monstrous spiders from the First Age. Swollen and fat from the drained juices of countless victims, Kankra spun a silken net in the winding halls of her dark dwelling to catch wanderers. Her presence ensured that no one could reach Mordor along this perilous path.
The pedestal is decorated with the map of Middle-earth and also bears the 'Lord of the Rings' logo, the name of the artwork, and the sculptor's signature. This statue is a faithful replica of the monstrous creature from the film.
