Lot in 800 silver – Vase and jewelry box – Gioielleria Regalzi Alessandria – Italy – 1920s–1940s
A noteworthy lot consisting of two matching objects in 800 silver, made in Italy in the first half of the twentieth century and marketed by the historic Gioielleria Regalzi of Alessandria.
The lot includes:
1) Decorative vase in 800 silver
Elegant, shaped vase with a circular base, bulging body, and flared neck with a wavy edge.
Rich chased and engraved decoration with floral motifs, ornamental scrolls and raised-relief details in a late Art Nouveau (Liberty) / early Deco style.
A finely finished surface with an alternating pattern of glossy and matte sections.
