This 6.39-ct specimen represents a single emerald-variety beryl crystal, characteristic of the Muzo mining area in Boyacá, Colombia. The specimen displays an elongated prismatic habit, with hexagonal subhedral morphology (faces not fully developed).
Color: The crystal displays a medium-green coloration with saturation ranging from moderate to bright.
Surface and Morphology: The faces of the prism show texture with longitudinal striations typical of beryl and irregular growth markings, indicative of a dynamic and fluctuating hydrothermal environment during its formation.
Transparency and Inclusions: The crystal is translucent to semitransparent. Its interior is densely populated by a complex system of inclusions, known in the trade as "garden".
