Large circular Art Nouveau relief plaque depicting a nude female figure rendered in flowing, organic forms typical of the Symbolist and Art Nouveau style of the Belle Époque period. The composition shows strong modeling and depth, with a dark, aged patina consistent with early 20th-century decorative metalwork.
Signed “G. Engrand”, attributed to Georges Engrand (1852–1936), a French sculptor known for decorative and ornamental works produced around the turn of the century.
The plaque is cast in metal (exact alloy undetermined) and displays substantial weight for its size, indicating quality workshop production rather than a lightweight decorative reproduction. Likely intended as a wall-mounted decorative plaque or architectural element.
