This offering is an iconic Mexican silver Libertad, minted by the historic Casa de Moneda de México, the oldest coin in the Americas. The Libertad series is very popular among collectors and investors due to its beautiful design, limited editions, and strong international demand.

The obverse depicts the famous Winged Victory of Independence (Angel of Independence) with the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes in the background, together with the inscriptions “1 Onza” and “Plata Pura”.
The reverse side shows the classic Mexican coat of arms (eagle with a serpent), surrounded by 'Estados Unidos Mexicanos'.
