A hollow rectangular hard-paste porcelain cushion with a flat top, decorated on its lid with polychrome enamels in the famille rose palette. The two broad faces feature a composition of precious objects and scholar’s utensils (vases, scent burners, scrolls, fans, flowers, auspicious emblems) arranged in a scatter. The sides are pierced with geometric and oval openings outlined in iron-red, framed by turquoise scroll friezes. Transparent glaze with a light ivory tint.

Condition :
Wear along edges and corners, small nicks and micro-chips, slight enamel loss.
No cracks or restorations.
Good structural stability.
Observed under UV.
