Description from the seller
Very rare, antique XXL theatre lamp on an adjustable, sturdy base. The lamp can reach very great distances and includes a working lamp.
The back flap can be opened so it can be fitted securely to the porcelain socket. It can also be replaced to accommodate any modern (LED) lamp, making this beautiful lamp not only a striking eye-catcher but also fully up-to-date for 2025 and energy-efficient.
The lamp is adjustable with a manual knob. Height adjustment lever. Vintage collector's item.
Furthermore, the glass and the material are completely intact. Not a trace of rust.
This French antique theatre lighting by A.E. Cremer - Paris was made in the early 1940s and served at the Théâtre de Paris during those years. My grandfather had, at the time, a friend who worked here.
Dimensions: 46 cm high - 33 cm deep - 31 cm wide. Stunning in a loft or industrial interior, attic or canal house. Also beautiful in a parsonage, shop, HoReCa, mancave or garage with exclusive cars, etc.
See photo for prices abroad. And only 1 available. I can safely say it's the nicest on Catawiki.
