One-item specimen featuring a colorless fluorite crystal in a perfect cube habit, mounted on a quartz matrix from Llamas Quarry, Duyos, Obdulia vein, Caravia mining area, Asturias, Spain, weighing 306 g with dimensions 86 × 82 × 37 mm, supplied as SSA.
Description from the seller
A piece with minimalist, sophisticated aesthetics that stands out for its absolute transparency. This specimen features a colorless fluorite crystal with gem-like transparency, masterfully positioned in the center of a microcrystalline quartz geode.
Crystallography and Habit: “Ice Cube”, the crystal exhibits a perfect cubic habit, with beveled edges and pristine faces. Its transparency is total, allowing the quartz lattice to be observed through the crystal without any optical distortion.
Contrast and Matrix: The fluorite, with a vitreous appearance, contrasts superbly against a matrix of milky white quartz. The concave arrangement of the matrix acts as a natural frame that protects and highlights the central gem.
Color Centers: The complete absence of chromatic impurities gives this specimen a highly sought-after, hyaline elegance.
Locality: From the Llamas Quarry, a classic Asturian locality worldwide famous for its fluorites. While violet color is common in the area, colorless specimens of this clarity are highly coveted display pieces.
