Gossen Lunasix 3 exposure meter in good physical condition, tested and working, supplied with its original leather case.
Description from the seller
For sale: Gossen Lunasix 3 (known as Luna-Pro in the United States), a true classic of light metering, famous for its legendary sensitivity in low-light conditions. Introduced in the second half of the 1960s, it has been the professional standard for decades thanks to its cadmium sulfide (CdS) sensor.
the Lunasix 3 is a "system" exposure meter: the front section is designed to accept various clip-on accessories (such as the spot tele adapter, probe for a camera obscura, etc.), a feature that sets it apart from the previous model. it features a sliding spherical dome to quickly switch from measuring reflected light (dome retracted) to incident light (dome inserted). the scale is dual (high and low sensitivity) and is activated by the lateral rocker switch (gray).
Important note about power: originally designed for two mercury batteries PX625/PX13 at 1.35V (no longer in production). Using modern 1.5V alkaline batteries will result in significant reading errors. The best solution is to use an original Gossen adapter or a compatible one that reduces the voltage of modern batteries to 1.35V for silver oxide (SR43 or SR44) cells, or to use Weincell zinc-air batteries. It is supplied with its rugged original leather case.
