An impressive large-format Art Nouveau ceramic vase, dating from the early 20th century, notable for its sculptural presence, elegant twin handles and richly modelled relief decoration. With its substantial height and weight, this is a statement piece, clearly conceived as a decorative art object rather than functional pottery.
The vase is finished in a deep blue, turquoise and green flowing glaze, enriched with warm ochre and amber accents.
