Reprodux (Bevan Funnell Ltd.) - Side table - Mahogany

Elegant mahogany side table with two tiers, also known as an etagere or telephone table, manufactured by Reprodux, a quality line from Bevan Funnell Ltd. (England).

The piece of furniture is made from solid mahogany and inspired by 18th- and 19th-century English furniture styles, with clear characteristics of the Georgian and Regency Revival style.
These classic forms were particularly popular from the mid to the end of the 20th century, when high-quality furniture reproductions were in high demand.

The table features a gracefully shaped top with a raised edge, supported by slender turned legs, and a second, lower shelf.
This type of furniture was traditionally used as a side table, a tea table, or a telephone table.

Reprodux furniture is known for its high level of finish, traditional craftsmanship, and durable materials, and was manufactured using techniques closely aligned with the work of historic English furniture makers.

At the bottom is the original brand mark: “Reprodux – Made in England – 29 89”. The numbers “29 89” probably refer to an internal production or model number, as is common within the standardized Reprodux collections.

Hairline crack in the raised edge of the top panel (see detail photo), stable and non-structural.
