Industrial French clamp lamp by Jean-Louis Domecq for Jieldé, dating from the 1950s, with two articulated arms (40 cm each), grey alloy construction, dimensions 60 cm wide by 46 cm high by 26 cm deep, base Ø26 cm and head Ø20 cm, in acceptable condition and not in working order, no bulb and requires rewiring.

Detailed condition: Very good — this vintage product has no defects, but may show minor signs of wear. It does not include a bulb and requires new wiring to be used.
Details about damages and restorations: it shows some new fasteners, as shown in the photographs.
Wear and oxidation give it a vintage elegance and reveal its originality; it shows cracks. The oxidation is natural and superficial.
Building material: metallized graphite alloy.
Gray color, with various shades of ochre patina.

This lamp spent 50 years in an old car repair workshop in the south of France. It was bought by some antique dealers and they sold it to me. It hasn’t been cleaned; it shows signs of use and the workshop’s primitive grease. This lends it a singularity and authenticity.
