This rare, fully signed piano candelabrum by Louis Pinet belongs to the highest echelon of 19th‑century French decorative art. Made in Paris around the Belle Époque (c. 1880–1900), in richly cast gilded bronze (bronze doré / ormolu), in an exuberant Louis XV / Rococo Revival style.

About the maker – Louis Pinet (L. PINET)

Pinet was a master bronze caster from Paris and worked with renowned names such as F. Barbedienne, Henry Dasson, and Maison Baguès. His pieces were exhibited at the Expositions Universelles of 1878 and 1889. Signed works attributed to him are extremely rare and are coveted by collectors, decorators, and museums.
