Description from the seller

Beautiful, intact silver tobacco- or spoon-box with engraved rural scenes. 19th century, probably around 1820. No legible year letter; but marked with the lion passant for the second quality and a cursive capital letter "W", probably the mark of J. Wijnants active in Sappemeer 1812–16. Fine condition, the lid closes perfectly.
