Canon New FD (NFD) 85mm f/1.2 L for sale, a legendary and highly sought-after lens, produced by Canon from 1980 onward. This is the 'L' (Luxury) version, recognizable by the red ring on the front, which indicates the use of special optical elements—in this case a precision-ground and polished aspherical lens.

This lens is famous for being a “bokeh monster”: thanks to the extreme wide aperture of f/1.2 and the optical design of 8 elements in 6 groups, it offers an ultra-thin depth of field and a creamy, painterly blur, ideal for dreamlike portraits. At full aperture it is reasonably sharp in the center but soft at the edges, with a characteristic glow and a bit of chromatic aberration that contributes to its vintage charm; when stopped down it becomes extremely sharp and high-contrast.

The specimen is in excellent cosmetic condition, with clean lenses. It has 8 diaphragm blades and a minimum focusing distance of 0.9 meters. The mount is Canon FD (NFD, with a push-button lock), easily adaptable to modern mirrorless cameras (Sony, Fuji, Canon R) to take advantage of its unique characteristics even for video.
