Description from the seller
Very interesting and impressive figure made of agate, quartz, calcite, and 925 sterling silver.
Work by the Spanish artisan Amador Braojos.
Amador Braojos (Totanés, Toledo, 1947) — Aries.
He is a sculptor of minerals and precious metals, born in the province of Madrid, and owns his own art school.
He said:
Minerals are those primordial beings with a stony soul, in whose beauty life is lived and the memory of the earth is preserved.
Every mineral is unique, with its own characteristics. It is the creative eye that discovers it and allows it to express itself. In that expression, there is aesthetics and history.
Working with them means observing and allowing oneself to be suggested, creating a space for dialogue between the mind and the object, to evoke the emotion of discovery.
Sculpture in silver and white quartz on an agate base.
Signed and numbered 56/70.
Weight: 6 kg.
Of my collection.
It is in good condition, with some scratches and marks typical of its age.
