Late Art Deco forged-iron lamp with a moulded glass shade signed Ezan, featuring a hammered stem and an elegant volute decor, in excellent vintage condition and in working order, originating from France, with dimensions 38 cm high, 21 cm wide/depth and weighing 1.8 kg.

Magnificent late Art Deco lamp in wrought iron.
Hammered, surmounted by a molded glass lampshade signed Ezan.
The wrought-iron leg features an elegant scrollwork pattern, typical of French artisanal craftsmanship from the mid-20th century.
The thick glass lampshade emits a warm light and bears the signature Ezan. The signature comes from the workshop of Jean Gautier, a French glassmaker active between 1920 and 1972.
Era: 1920-1950
Origin: France
Materials: hammered wrought iron, signed molded glass
Condition: very good vintage condition, light signs of wear consistent with age.
How it works: the lamp is functional (bulb not included), a nice glow-in-the-dark switch.

About Ezan: The Ezanville Glassworks, known as Ezan France, was active from the late 1920s to the 1950s near Paris. Specializing in molded and opaline glass, it produced numerous models for major Art Deco lighting manufacturers such as Hettier & Vincent and Muller Frères. Its creations, with elegant shapes and beaded or frosted décors, combine modernity and refinement.
