Small antique repoussed silver dish with a decoration of putti – Mythological scene – Late 19th century
Elegant small antique solid silver bowl, finely worked in repoussé and chasing, featuring at the center a mythological scene animated by putti (cherubs), surrounded by a richly detailed floral and botanical motif.
The lobed border, the side handles, and the quality of the relief attest to careful artisanal workmanship, characteristic of Central European production at the end of the 19th century. A refined decorative piece, ideal for an antique silverware collection or as a salon display object.
