The Intangible Realm by Sand Wan is a first edition English-language hardback monograph of 120 pages, in black-and-white photography of rocks off the northwest coast of Taiwan, in excellent, shrink-wrapped condition.

Book is well-illustrated with no wear to edges. Book has clean and bright contents. Free from markings or inscriptions. No defects.
This book is a collection of photos of beautiful rocks off the northwest coast of Taiwan, which Sand Wan took during his many trips there. The textures and grains of the time-worn rocks appear hyper-real in the delicate light captured by his lens. With post-production editing, Sand Wan rebuilds the perspective and a sense of space around the objects, creating a balance between reality and aesthetics.
Sand Wan is a fina art photographer who was born in 1949 in Hong Kong and graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Foundation Design Certificate. While he was in Hong Kong, he was engaged in the publishing business and graphic design. His works have won numerous awards in Hong Kong and international design competitions. Since 1996 he has been living and working in Vancouver and is a member of the Chinese Canadian Artists Federation.
