This Leica M3 rangefinder camera has undergone a new paint job and a complete overhaul in Japan in 2017: gears, shutter curtain, shutter speed – everything is in perfect condition.

The case is in nearly new condition! It features a high-quality two-layer matte paint finish, giving it exceptional durability. After 8 years, it shows no signs of aging or scratches.

The camera is in excellent condition. Such meticulous and attentive maintenance has allowed it to retain virtually no signs of use. All functions have been rigorously tested and work perfectly! The camera body is free of scratches, dents, and chipped paint. The shutter speed is precise and optimal, and the shutter is in excellent condition and works perfectly.

Two sample photos were provided by the collector. The device has always been kept in a dry cabinet, protected from the elements.

It is worth noting that the viewfinder is still bright and sharp, with no yellowing at all. Eight years later, a few signs of aging of the glue on the edge of the viewfinder are observed, visible in the photo, but this does not affect its quality in the least. It remains perfectly bright and sharp to the naked eye and does not hinder the composition or framing.
