Megalodon - Fossil tooth - 15.2 cm - 11.7 cm

Offering here an absolute rarity: a Megalodon from the Caribbean with an incredible size of 6 inches. Length 15.2 cm and width 11.7 cm. Beautiful colors, white bourlette with dark accents and a great serration.

If 6-inch teeth are rare, then 6-inch teeth from the Caribbean are a rarity.

Teeth from the Caribbean are, due to the locations they were found and the methods used to uncover them, extremely rarely recovered undamaged. And so this tooth, due to the use of tools, has a superficial damage along the middle of the tooth from sawing, which was restored by a professional restorer. Hardly visible anymore, only to be guessed at by the serration near the tip. An absolute highlight in any collection. These teeth are virtually non-existent on the market, not least in this condition and size. All photos were taken in daylight and without filters.
