It is said that these drops are born when the firmament breathes. According to the mythical tradition of the Ancient Desert, every teardrop arises from the moment when an ancestral spirit—the Luminous Wanderer—tilted its face toward the earth and let fall a tear as it gazed upon the vastness of the world.
That tear, upon touching the red dust of Australia, absorbed the colors of the sunrise, the flashes of electric storms, and the murmur of underground rivers.
The teardrop shape is not accidental: it represents the transition between two worlds.
The tip symbolizes the celestial origin, the exact point where divine emotion detached.
The rounded belly holds the memory of the earth, its moisture, its fire, and its silence.
The color game is understood as a living language: every flash is a message from the spirit that created it, a reminder that the sacred continues to breathe beneath the surface of the world.
In the tales of the Guardians of the Arena, a drop of teardrop opal is a talisman that one does not own: it is guarded. Whoever wears it becomes a witness to an ancient pact between light and shadow, between sky and desert.
They say that, when you turn it in the light, you can see not only colors, but scenes: fragments of dreams, echoes of storms, the footsteps of beings who no longer walk this plane.
A teardrop of Australian opal is, essentially, the tear of a god who chose to remind the world that even light weeps, and in that tear lies the power to transform the ordinary into legend.
