This organic edge side table is a celebration of nature’s unruly elegance, handcrafted from a single slab of solid hardwood. The tabletop retains its raw, freeform silhouette — shaped by the tree’s natural growth, not by design — showcasing expressive grain lines, knots, and voids that tell the story of the wood’s origin.
The sculptural top is anchored by three hand-carved legs, each deeply charred to a rich matte black using the traditional Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique. The contrast between the warm, untouched surface and the blackened base creates a striking balance between refinement and rawness.

Expression forms of Logniture artists are various functional sculptures; both
aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically designed to be used as furniture. Their
motivation comes from nature and forms are based on a feeling of a moment as
well as extraordinary features of white poplar logs. Each log, that would
otherwise go to waste, is full of potential to become anything, from something as
