Description from the seller

This antique walking stick from the first half of the 20th century is a particularly decorative and characterful piece, clearly made as more than merely a utilitarian object. The overall piece exudes craftsmanship and symbolism, typical of walking sticks worn by hunters, club members, or enthusiasts of representative accessories.

The handle is richly worked in the shape of a bird of prey, presumably an eagle or hawk, with beautifully detailed feathers and a powerful bearing. This gives the staff a stately appearance and immediately makes it a showpiece. The dark wooden shaft forms a striking contrast with the metal details and displays a beautiful, well-worn patina.

Along the shaft are decorative emblems. These additions give the walking cane extra historical and collectible value and make each piece unique. At the bottom the cane is finished with a brass tip, which is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

With a length of 81 cm, this walking cane is ideal as a collectible object, decorative piece, or authentic accessory for a classic interior, hunting lodge, or gentleman's office.

Used, original condition with normal signs of aging, which contribute to the character and authenticity of the piece.
