Rosenthal - Tapio Wirkkala - Vase (4) - Modulation - Porcelain

I'm offering here a beautiful set of 3 porcelain vases and ashtray designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Rosenthal.

These minimalist white porcelain vases were created by renowned Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala for the German porcelain manufacturer Rosenthal. Wirkkala (1915-1985) is celebrated for his organic, sculptural approach to form and his ability to merge Nordic simplicity with experimental materials. The collaboration resulted in several important series for Rosenthal, including the famous “Paper Bag” (Tüten-) vase collection.

Rosenthal, founded in 1879 in Selb (Germany), is known for high-quality porcelain and long standing collaborations with leading designers of the 20th century — theirs is a legacy of merging art and industrial design in timeless creations.

* I would like to point out that the items I am selling are several decades old and therefore show general signs of use and age, such as minor scratches, scuffs, discoloration, dust, patina, chips, dents etc.

The set will be properly prepared for the shipping ( mainly recycled materials ) and sent insured ( up to 500€ ).

If, however, the item is damaged or lost, please contact me via the internal Catawiki chat.
According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation.
In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment.
