Heart-shaped silver trinket box in 925 sterling silver, Italian production (Milan), early 20th century.
Fine antique box expertly hand-worked in repoussé and chasing, featuring an elegant fan-shaped floral decoration on the lid and a continuous scrolling motif along the sides.
The refined and balanced design reflects the late Art Nouveau / early Art Deco aesthetic, characteristic of high-quality Milanese silverwork from the first decades of the 20th century.
Original silver interior, with well-preserved hinge and proper closure.
Hallmarked “MILANO” inside, as visible in the photographs, indicating Italian assay and origin.
A finely crafted object of notable artisanal quality, originally intended as a refined personal accessory and today appreciated as a collectible and decorative piece.
