Description from the seller
Old carpentry hand saw, of English origin, produced in Sheffield (England) — historic center of the steel and hand tools industry.
The blade bears the original inscription “SHEFFIELD”, still visible, with industrial decoration typical of the late 19th / early 20th century.
Original solid wood handle, with classic ergonomic design, fixed with three metal rivets, revealing excellent manufacturing quality and authenticity.
Blade in steel, straight and solid, with teeth still visible.
The piece is in its original state ("as found"), with natural signs of use and oxidation compatible with its age, without aggressive restorations — ideal for both collectors of antique tools and interior decoration in industrial, rustic or vintage workshop styles.
A object with strong historical and decorative value, representative of the English Sheffield craft tradition.
