An authentic handwritten document from the late Edo period, framed for preservation.
The content appears to be related to medical or obstetric history, possibly a doctor’s handwritten note or record.
The black ink calligraphy has a distinct Edo-period character, written with a brush (fude) on handmade Japanese paper (washi).
The document has fold marks and areas of tearing due to age, but it retains excellent readability and historical presence.
This framed piece serves as both a valuable historical artifact and an elegant wall decoration reflecting Edo-period craftsmanship and scholarly aesthetics.
