Rare Daunian terracotta oinochoe with an ovoid body, pronounced shoulder, ring-shaped foot, trilobed clover opening and vertical lens-shaped handle, dating to the 4th–3rd century BC, dimensions 7 cm wide, 7 cm deep and 10.5 cm high, weight 106 g, subject birds, condition intact with chips at the foot and some incrustations and wear, provenance from the United Kingdom and acquired in 2025 by Helios Gallery Antiquities; no shipping outside the European Union.

Rare Daunian oinochoe with an egg-shaped body, pronounced shoulder, ring-foot with a concave profile, three-lobed clover-shaped opening, and vertical, lens-shaped handle. Varied black-and-red decorations, consisting of bands, dots, lattice patterns, and stylized birds (see the images of similar decorative elements in the scholarly literature).
Typus: Form XI, type 17 (De Juliis: The geometric ceramics of Daunia. Florence 1977, see figures).
Century/Period: 4th–3rd century BC.
Origin: Apulia
Material: Terracotta
Condition: Intact. Chipping at the foot. In some areas, sintering and wear.

Provenance: from the estate of a deceased person, Aylsham, Norfolk, United Kingdom, acquired mid to late 20th century.
