Condition: although over 600 years old, the condition is reasonably good; the parchment is slightly browned, and a portion of the upper left corner has been torn.

This 13th-century manuscript page comes from a Latin psalter written in France. The text is written in two different colors and typefaces. One of the initials is exceptionally ornate and set with gold. The initial depicts the Trinity.

This vellum manuscript (fine parchment, animal skin) with beautifully decorated initials and marginal penwork is an original piece from the 13th century.
