Set of two anatomical educational flap plates (man and woman), issued by J.F. Schreiber, Esslingen, circa 1965–1975, with movable flaps illustrating skin, muscles, organs and vessels, designed by illustrator Karl Herzog, made of paper/card, 43 × 18 cm (3 mm thick), 400 g total, in good vintage condition with minor signs of age and traces of use, in working order and including the original importer's envelope.

Beautiful and original set of anatomical flap plates
Set of two anatomical educational flap plates (male and female), published by J.F. Schreiber, Esslingen (Germany) in the third quarter of the 20th century.
The plates contain several fold-out flaps that reveal the anatomy step by step: skin, muscles, organs and other internal structures. This type of educational material was used in biology and medical lessons and was an important tool at schools and universities.
The labels on the records read:

with serial numbers JFS-3 0005 / JFS-3 0006, belonging to an educational series from the publisher.
Note: the records are supplied in the original envelope from the Dutch importer De Jong, Amsterdam, which documents distribution and use in the Netherlands. Thus including the original accompanying material.

Condition: good vintage condition, light signs of use and aging appropriate for its age; the flaps are intact and complete except for one flap (the starting flap) on the woman's side which is loose on one edge. This is clearly visible in the photo.
