Carl Deffner - Coffee and tea service - Copper - Embossed Jugendstil set

An Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) copper and brass Tea and Coffee set, made by Carl Deffner.
Germany - around 1895.

The company, known as C.D.E. Works (all pieces bear this mark), was based in Esslingen, Germany.
This set is made of copper with a few brass details and features a distinctive design with stylized embossed decoration. All handles (except for the kettle on the stand, likely because of fire hazard) are finished with wicker, providing a decorative and insulated grip.

The set includes a large spirit kettle on a heating stand (small dent on the base edge), a large pot, a smaller pot, a milk jug (small dent on the rim), a sugar bowl, and a matching tray (one screw missing, a few blemishes along the edge).
