A.Kauffmann - Dessert service (8) - Porcelain

Dessert service in fine porcelain, composed of six plates and two cake stands, rich multicolored decoration, turquoise ground. Cartouches at the center, overglaze lithographic transfers on the Angelica Kaufmann model (CH 1741- Rome 1807) with signature, depicting classical scenes. All around, 20 ovals with floral designs, repeated on the lower part of the two cake stands. The decoration is enriched with gold borders and vegetal motifs. Manufacturer's mark on the base. Austria, early 20th century.
In excellent condition with some signs of wear (the gold edges are a bit worn).
