Glass droplet-flask with an ovoid body, decorated with chevron zigzag patterns in translucent greenish-brown glass, featuring a funnel mouth and an internal dropper mechanism, Syrian production from Roman antiquity (3rd–5th century BC); dimensions 79 × 46 × 46 mm, in excellent condition, provenance French private collection, acquired in 2024 from a French auction house.
Description from the seller
Dropper bottle with an ovate molded body decorated with chevron patterns. The decorations consist of parallel zigzag lines.
Flattened and slightly concave in its center, made of translucent glass with a greenish-brown hue, with the presence of earthy deposits.
Funnel-shaped mouthpiece, rounded lips, cylindrical neck constricted at the base and equipped with a dropper device inside.
