Description from the seller
Antique oak plant stand / side table – Netherlands, ca. 1910–1935
Elegant and characterful antique plant stand or side table, manufactured in the Netherlands in the period circa 1910–1935. This refined piece of furniture is made of solid oak and is beautifully accented by vertical brass-colored metal slats, which give the whole a light and decorative appearance.
The table has a square top with refined edge detailing, resting on four slender, tapering legs. The lower shelf is specially shaped: gently contoured and subtly asymmetrical, which adds extra elegance and stability. This detail gives the table an artisanal character and makes it visually interesting from every angle.
Thanks to the light, airy design and the warm wood tone, this table is perfect for displaying a plant, vase, statue, art object, or lamp. Also lovely as a side table in the living room, hallway, conservatory, or bedroom. It fits perfectly in a classic, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, country, or eclectic interior, but can also form a surprisingly warm accent in a modern interior.
