Amber-coloured pressed glass vase in the Art Deco style, Luxor model, made in Belgium, in very good vintage condition with light signs of aging and small spots; height 24 cm, width 15 cm, depth 15 cm.
Description from the seller
Beautiful Art Deco vase in amber-colored pressed glass, made under license by the Belgian glass factory Scailmont.
This is the model from the series 'Luxor' designed in 1934 by August Walther & Sohne AG Dresden (see the last photo).
The vase is made of smoked amber-colored glass. It features a sleek, fluted body with striking, stepped ribs that create a sense of flowing movement. The geometric base with pronounced texture adds contrast and enhances the sculptural appeal. This vase is an excellent example of the innovative style of the 1930s. Its special color allows for a very beautiful light reflection.
The vase is marked at the bottom with 'Made in Belgium'.
Dimensions
Height 24 cm
Diameter 15 cm
The vase is in very good vintage condition.
Air bubbles, mold lines, speckles, and small imperfections are typical of pressed glass from the interwar period. They are not flaws but actually make the object authentic.
Taking photos is an integral part of the description.
The vase is very carefully packaged and shipped with track&trace.
