Description from the seller
Large Boch Keramis egg-shaped vase in monochrome crackle-glazed white ceramic.
The vase stands out for its perfect shape and the pronounced craquelures that form a very complex network.
It was produced in the 1930s in the Boch Keramis atelier of Charles Catteau.
At the bottom the vase is signed with the typical stamp “Boch.F La Louvière / Made in Belgium” and the form number 900 (impressed).
Literature: Marc Pairon - catalogue raisonné 'ART DECO CERAMICS - Made in Belgium', 2006
Height 19 cm – Diameter 16 cm
The vase is in good used vintage condition and has a nice old patina. One of the craquelures shows a glaze firing fault that isn’t actually visible but can be felt with a finger (see last photo).
Taking photos is an integral part of the description.
The vase is very carefully packaged and shipped with track&trace.
