Rosenthal porcelain box designed by Javier Mariscal, made in Germany in 1970–1980, in a post‑modern design style with bold colours, approximately 32×10.5×7.5 cm, and in excellent condition.

Dear Bidders,
thank you for your interest in my offer.
Produced in the late 20th century, this sculptural collector box is a fine example of Rosenthal’s collaboration with contemporary designers.
It features Mariscal’s signature playful geometry, bold black outlines and vivid color accents, strongly associated with postmodern and Memphis - inspired design.
.This piece is both a functional object and a highly collectible design statement.
SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS:
Robin Platt studied at the London College of Furniture and, with Cairn Young, gained acclaim early in their careers.
Cairn Young studied at the Central School of Art and Kingston University. Together they collaborated for Rosenthal throughout the 1990s.
Javier Mariscal is an internationally acclaimed Spanish designer and illustrator, known for his expressive, humorous visual language and his influential role in late 20th-century design culture

* I would like to point out that the items I am selling are several decades old and therefore show general signs of use and age, such as minor scratches, scuffs, discoloration, dust, patina, chips, dents etc.
- Any major damage -s is / are ALWAYS shown in the photos -

The vases will be properly prepared for the shipping ( mainly recycled materials ) and sent insured ( up to 500€ ).

According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment.
