A Bronze Age bronze arrowhead, featuring a deltoid blade with downward-curving shoulders forming short barbs. Running down the centre is a prominent midrib that leads to a short cylindrical stem and a long, narrow tang. In ancient times a number of nomadic populations, such as the Medes and the Kassites settled in the Western Asiatic region. Due to the nomadic nature of the tribes, none of these bronzes were of great size, since it was required for them to be light and portable.
