GEM (Edison Trade) Model C phonograph from 1903, in good physical condition and tested functioning, serial G195223, weight 4.2 kg, includes box; one unit with horn and three Pathé wax cylinders plus an extra horn.

Magnificent Edison cylinder phonograph, original and manufactured by Thomas Alva Edison in the United States in 1903, Gem C model, serial number G195223. The case is made of black-and-gold painted metal bolted onto a wooden base, metal mechanism, the manufacturer's name and model on the front of the case, tin plate with the serial number and the various manufacturing markings riveted to the back.
The 'Gem' model designed by Edison is a small phonograph with an external horn and a spring motor, and was marketed by the Edison company as early as 1899 to counter the cheap productions of its rivals; its distribution was worldwide.
It is in very good working condition and allows reading of the 2-minute wax cylinders.
It includes 1 horn and 3 Pathé wax cylinders included with the phonograph + 1 horn included.
The unit is in very good working condition.
