Tiger cub in glazed ceramic – Ronzan, Italy – circa 1930–1940
Professionally shipped – more than 850 five-star reviews worldwide.
Glazed ceramic figurine of a tiger cub, produced by Ronzan in Italy in the first half of the 20th century. The animal is depicted in a half-rearing posture with the head slightly raised. The modeling is carefully worked out with a clear focus on form and proportion.
The decoration is executed with hand-sprayed stripes and painted details. The glaze has been applied evenly. The underside is marked with the designation Ronzan and the accompanying model number.
Height about 15 cm and length about 21 cm; in good condition with light signs of wear appropriate to age and use, without cracks or restorations. Note the small scratch on the forehead.
