Description from the seller

Elegant antique fan, datable to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, presented in a semicircular period display case with a gold frame and a red velvet background, which greatly enhances its decorative and collectible character.
The fan is made of finely pleated fabric, richly hand-painted with feminine scenes of romantic taste and delicate floral motifs, executed with great chromatic sensitivity. The figures, of allegorical inspiration, blend harmoniously into an ethereal landscape of great visual lightness.
The rods, heavily pierced and decorated, seem to be made of bone or some noble material with artisanal workmanship of notable quality and gilded details that reinforce their ornamental character. The ensemble shows careful craftsmanship, typical of pieces aimed at a refined audience.
The piece is in good overall condition. The fan displays an old and respectful restoration, stable and well integrated, without affecting its aesthetic integrity or its decorative value. The display case perfectly accompanies the whole ensemble, enabling immediate display.
Object of strong decorative and collectible appeal, ideal for classical interiors, display cases, or collections of decorative arts and period accessories.
It is recommended to carefully examine the photographs, which are an essential part of the description.
