Description from the seller
Sculpture depicting the face of the Greek-Roman goddess Athena.
Goddess of wisdom, of the arts, and of war.
In this depiction, the deity wears the very famous Helm of Darkness, also called the Helm of the Darkness, a magical headgear from Greek mythology capable of rendering anyone who wears it invisible. According to myth, the helm was forged by the Cyclopes from dog skin (kúon) and given as a gift to Hades, along with Poseidon's trident and Zeus's lightning bolt, during the war against the Titans.
In mythology, the Kunée is worn by Athena in the Iliad (famous poem traditionally attributed to Homer).
Academic, professional sculpture, entirely handmade by professional artisans. A piece from a museum plaster cast collection. The workmanship has very ancient origins and is executed entirely by hand by artists in the sculpture field, made with materials such as scagliola and Carrara marble powder.
The indicated dimensions include the base, if present.
The shipping is entrusted to a packaging company (professional packaging).
