Bazooka is an American chewing gum brand launched in 1947.
The marketing of Bazooka chewing gum in the United States began just after World War II, by the Brooklyn, New York-based company Topps. The packaging is blue, white, and red and it sold for one cent.
In 1953, Topps changed the packaging of its chewing gum by including a small comic strip featuring the character Bazooka Joe. There are more than 1,535 different wrappers featuring this comic to collect.
