Vintage Traditional Japanese Deba Knives – Signed Blades, Set of 3

This lot consists of three vintage, traditionally forged Japanese Deba knives, all bearing maker’s marks. Deba knives are essential tools in Japanese cuisine, designed primarily for filleting fish and breaking down whole fish, featuring a thick spine for durability and a sharp edge for precise cutting.

These knives reflect authentic Japanese craftsmanship and are well suited for collectors, restorers, or experienced users who appreciate traditional carbon steel blades.

Makers (from left to right):

1) Sekimagoroku Kinju (関孫六 金寿)
A classic example associated with the long-established blade-making tradition of Seki. The blade has a powerful and traditional Deba profile.
