Thorens TD-115 turntable, manufactured in 1978, in good physical condition and tested and working, with power cord included, serial number 16936, dimensions 44.5 × 35.5 × 13 cm and weight 7 kg.
Description from the seller
The Thorens TD 115 is a classic belt-driven turntable from the late 1970s and early 1980s, designed for listeners who want stable, accurate vinyl playback without the complexity and price of top-end reference models. The unit combines mechanical robustness with electronically controlled speed and semi-automatic operation. The combination with the Stanton 681EEE cartridge has historically been a popular match: the cartridge offers reliable, musical playback and fits well with the TD 115’s low-mass tonearm.
Technical specifications – Thorens TD 115
General:
• Type: Semi-automatic turntable

• Height with open dust cap: approx. 400 mm
• Net weight: approx. 7 kg
Technical specifications – Stanton 681EEE:
• Type: Moving-magnet stereo cartridge
• Frequency range: ± 10 Hz – ~ 22 kHz (depending on the specific MK version)
Output voltage: about 0.7 – 3.5 mV @ 5 cm/s (varies by generation)
• Tracking speed: → very suitable for standard and critical listening setups.
• Tracking force (recommended): 0.75–1.5 g
• Channel separation: > 30 dB at 1 kHz
• Channel balance: ~ 2 dB
• Stylus: Elliptical diamond (≈ 0.3 × 0.7 mil)
• Cartridge weight: ~ 6 – 6.3 grams
