Description from the seller

I am presenting here two original model sheets (or character sheets), with bright colors, hand-painted and protected by a sheet of celluloid (hence the reflections on some photos) from the animated series broadcast by Canal+ 'Polochon'.

These model sheets feature the three main characters in various situations and poses, painted on celluloid sheets against a background (pastoral green for the children - midnight blue for the crow).
Polochon, the little boy, hero of the series.
Mélody, her little sister.
and the noisy crow
for a series of animated shows about their adventures broadcast on Canal + starting in 1989 (authors Nic Broca / Alain Royer).

In the drawing, the line and style reflect the Belgian school of comics and cartoons (Producer Odec - KId Cartoons).

Sheet dimensions: 50 x 35
Drawing dimensions: 40 x 25
Perfect condition, never displayed, so the colors are very vibrant.

Very beautiful original set created by Nic Broca, also known as Nic (1932–1993), a Belgian comic strip artist and animator.
In 1959, I joined the Belvision studio, and Nic Broca participated in productions such as Asterix the Gaul (1967), Asterix and Cleopatra (1968), Daisy Town (1971), Tintin and the Lake of Sharks (1972), The Smurfs' Flute (1976). Hired by the Idéfix studios in 1976, he collaborated on the film The Twelve Tasks of Asterix (1976), then on The Ballad of the Daltons (1978).
In 1980, he illustrated the adventures of Spirou and Fantasio, based on scripts by Raoul Cauvin, and then returned to animation at the Brussels studio Kid Cartoons, where he directed 65 episodes of La Bande à Ovide. He then created the characters of Polochon and prepared the film for this series before participating in the animation of the Tifous characters, based on Franquin's designs.

Polochon enjoys dreaming on the feathers of his pillow.
Polochon wants to sleep, but all around him, it's chaos.
The engines, jackhammers, and all the troublemakers, jokers, and alarm clock fans come to pull him by the ears.
Polochon wants to live peacefully in his village on the meadow, surrounded by his friends, grandfather, grandmother, and Melody.
With Fred, Bob, and little sister, he often has misfortunes, but Lonny pulls him out of trouble with his little magic trick.
