Marklin set no. 2859 demonstrator train of the DB. This is a 5-piece set consisting of an electric locomotive of type BR 111 with 4 carriages, of which 1 is a baggage car. The color scheme of the locomotive and cars is the so-called Versuchslackierung. The E-locomotive is professionally digitized and the baggage car has built-in and well-functioning red lights. The set has been tested and functions excellently. The original packaging and interior fittings of the set are in excellent condition. No videotape included.

The E-loco is of the BR 111 type with fleet number 111 069-1 in the light red / light gray livery. The E-loco is in very good condition. The E-loco has been professionally digitized. It features a Märklin 60902 decoder with a Märklin high-power motor, giving it very good running characteristics. The start-up/brake delay, the lighting, and the maximum speed are adjustable. The digital address is adjustable from 0-80. The E-loco is set to address 56. The E-loco corresponds to Märklin model no. 3172, has adjustable 3-point lighting (pilot lights) on both ends that switch with the direction of travel, has 2 driven axles with 4 anti-slip bands, and is equipped with short couplers. An instruction booklet and parts list are included.

The 4 carriages consist of 3 passenger carriages and 1 baggage carriage. All carriages are equipped with screw-couplings and have a length over buffers of 270 mm. The baggage carriage has built-in illuminated red tail lights (see photos) and movable sliding doors. The 3 passenger carriages consist of an IC compartment coach, an FD carriage, and a Nahverkehrswagen. The carriages are in nearly new condition. There are 4 sets with removable inscriptions/decals included.
