Description from the seller

These are two simple, heavy earrings with wire loops. They are Roman and date to the 2nd–3rd century. The earrings are made from solid, thick wire.

One end of the wire hooks back into the loop and is secured with a wrap around the end; the other end passes through the loop. The wire has a thickness of almost 2 mm.

The outer diameters are 2.3 cm and 2.7 cm, respectively. The weights are 3.89 g and 4.19 g. Total weight: 8.08 g of gold.
